Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a steady rise in temperatures across Odisha, signaling warmer days ahead.
With no active weather systems currently influencing the state, conditions are expected to remain largely dry over the next week.
Officials said there is no warning related to cold wave conditions. However, light to moderate fog may occur in some places until January 26.
On Wednesday, daytime temperatures crossed 30°C in 19 towns across the state.
Bhubaneswar recorded the highest at 32.3°C, followed by Jharsuguda and Paradip. Weather experts have predicted that temperatures may rise further by 3 to 4 degrees in the coming days.

While no cold wave warnings have been issued, the IMD has predicted light to moderate fog in isolated areas until January 26. Experts said the warming trend marks the gradual transition from winter chill to early summer-like conditions.
