Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to undertake a five-day visit to Odisha in the first week of February.


According to reports, the President will arrive in Bhubaneswar on February 2 and, the following day, attend the 12th Convocation Ceremony of Fakir Mohan University in Balasore.


The event will be held at the university’s newly established campus in Remuna, Nuapadhi, where the President will deliver the convocation address.


On February 4, President Murmu will participate in a series of programs in Jajpur and also offer prayers at the revered Maa Biraja Temple.

Her itinerary continues with engagements in Mayurbhanj district on February 5 and 6, including a visit to Rairangpur, her native place.


Following the Odisha tour, President Murmu will return to Bhubaneswar before proceeding to Chhattisgarh for her next official engagement.
