Mayurbhanj, Oct 5: A powerful explosion during illegal preparation of fireworks in Bachhuripada village under Baisinga police station in Mayurbhanj district, has left two individuals critically injured.
According to reports, the blast took place while banned firecrackers were being manufactured in a residential area. The sudden explosion caused panic among villagers and resulted in severe injuries to two persons involved in the activity.
Both victims were immediately rushed to Balasore Medical College and Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment in critical condition.
