Balasore, Oct 30: Around 10 people sustained injuries after a bus they were travelling in was hit by a truck near Jonabalada in the Jaleswar area.

According to reports, the incident occurred when the bus, named “Ahesan”, was en route with around 25 passengers. Meanwhile, a truck rammed into the rear of the bus at high speed, causing significant damage and panic among travellers.

Following the incident, local authorities and emergency services rushed to the scene, and the injured were immediately transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Three individuals are reported to be in critical condition and are receiving intensive medical care.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the crash and assess whether negligence or speeding played a role.

Traffic was briefly disrupted but has since resumed.
