Bhubaneswar, Nov 30: A shocking incident has stirred concern in the capital city after unidentified miscreants allegedly attempted to abduct a minor boy in a black Thar vehicle while he was on his way to tuition classes.

The incident took place in Shri Vihar area of Chandrasekharpur when the boy was suddenly targeted by the occupants of the SUV.

According to reports, the miscreants tried to force the child into the vehicle. However, the boy’s father, who was nearby, acted swiftly and managed to rescue his son before the abductors could succeed.

Following the incident, the minor boy's father lodged a complaint at the Chandrasekharpur police station.

Based on the plaint, Police teams immediately reached the spot and began an investigation. The vehicle used in the attempted abduction has been described as a black Thar, and authorities are working to trace its movements through CCTV footage and local intelligence.

Senior officials have assured that strict action will be taken once the culprits are identified.

The incident has sparked widespread concern among residents, especially parents, highlighting the need for heightened vigilance and stronger safety measures in the city.
