Bhubaneswar, Oct 18: Odisha has been conferred the prestigious title of Best Performing State under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan.
Adding to the accolades, Mayurbhanj district was named the Best Performing District under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, while Keonjhar district received the Best District Award under the Dharati Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan—another initiative focused on grassroots participation and tribal welfare.
Following the honour, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Odisha for this remarkable achievement.
He also commended Mayurbhanj district for being recognised as the Best Performing District under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, and Keonjhar district for receiving the Best District Award under the Dharati Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan.

"This prestigious recognition, conferred by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, stands as a testament to Odisha’s unwavering commitment towards the welfare, empowerment, and inclusive development of tribal communities," said the Chief Minister.
"The State Government remains dedicated to strengthening participatory governance and ensuring that the benefits of development reach every village and every household across Odisha," the CM added.
