According to reports, the accused, identified as Raja, a resident of Kolkata, was reportedly in custody when he requested to step out, claiming he was about to vomit. Taking advantage of the momentary lapse in vigilance, Raja fled the premises, leaving officers stunned.
Following the incident, police launched a manhunt to trace and apprehend the accused.
