Cuttack News / Missing two Brothers Found Floating in River Near Choudwar Birupa Barrage

Cuttack, Mar 12: Two brothers, who were missing for past two days, were found floating near Gate No. 1 of the Choudwar Birupa Barrage this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Debashis Sahu and Subhashis Sahu, residents of Mandapada in Choudwar.

According to reports, their motorcycle was earlier discovered abandoned near the barrage, raising concerns about their whereabouts. However, they were found floating in the river.

Locals immediately alerted the police, who then rushed to the spot and launched a probe into the incident.

Choudwar police, with assistance from the fire services, recovered the bodies and sent them to Cuttack SCB Medical and Hospital for post-mortem.

A case has been registered and further probe into the incident is underway.
