Cuttack, Apr 11: The driver of a Hyva was killed after the vehicle rammed into a rod-loaded truck on NH-55 near Oranda overbridge under Gurudijhatia PS in Athagarh.
According to reports, a Hyva truck carrying chips rammed into the rear of another truck loaded with iron rods. The collision was so severe that the Hyva overturned, trapping its driver inside the cabin. The impact caused injuries, with the driver’s head severed from his body and falling onto the road.
Emergency services, including the Athgarh Fire Department and Gurudijhatia police, rushed to the scene to carry out rescue operations and begin an investigation.
