Jaleswar, Dec 3: A dramatic catch stunned locals and traders after a giant shark weighing 210 kilograms was caught trapped in the fishing net.

According to reports, the shark was netted by a trawler operating near the Odisha–West Bengal maritime boundary. News of the rare catch quickly spread, drawing a large crowd of curious onlookers, traders, and fellow fishermen to witness the spectacle.

The massive fish was later transported to the auction centre at Digha, where it was put up for sale. Such large catches are uncommon in the region and often attract significant commercial interest, with traders eager to bid for the prized catch.
