Raigarh, Dec 3: A head constable posted with Railway Protection Force (RPF) was killed by his colleague during duty hours in Chhattisgarh's Raigarh district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased officer has been identified as PK Mishra.
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 4 a.m. Following the incident, the accused officer, K.S. Lader, was immediately arrested by the Raliway police.
Acting swiftly, a joint investigation was launched by the Raigarh police and RPF teams, with a forensic team also reaching the site to collect evidence.

Later, senior officials, including IG of South
East Coast Railway along with the Additional SP and CSP of Raigarh, visited
the spot and are supervising the inquiry.

Authorities are probing the motive behind the shooting, trying to ascertain why the officer turned his weapon on his colleague.
