Argus News - Domestic Dispute Turns Violent As Man Stabs Wife After Heated Argument

Bhubaneswar, Apr 17: A shocking incident of domestic violence has come to light in Chandrasekharpur’s Ishaneshwar Basti, where a woman was left critically injured after being stabbed multiple times by her husband.

According to reports, the accused Shyamsundar Bisoi turned violent and stabbed his wife after his plan to set fire to his house along with his wife inside was prevented by locals.

According to police, the assault stemmed from a family dispute.

The woman, left bleeding profusely, was rescued by her brother and rushed to the nearby hospital.

The whole incident was captured by CCTV footage.

Later, on being informed, Chandrasekharpur police reached the spot soon and initiated a probe.

Meanwhile, Shyamsundar fled the scene after the stabbing. Police have launched searches across various locations to apprehend him.
