Bhajanagar, Apr 19: In a tragic incident two minors lost their lives after drowning in a water reservoir while bathing.
According to reports, the mishap occurred as the victims, accompanied by their friends, entered the reservoir to take a bath. Meanwhile, they slipped into the deep. Unfortunately, they were unable to stay afloat and were swept under the water.
Witnesses immediately alerted authorities, and the Fire Services team rushed to the spot. After an intense rescue operation, both boys were pulled out of the water and rushed to the nearby medical facility. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, doctors declared the children dead upon arrival.
The sudden deaths have cast a pall of grief over the medical premises, where family members and locals gathered in shock.
