Seoul, Jan 2: Global K-pop icons BTS are set to make their highly anticipated return to the music scene this March, ending a four-year hiatus since their last group album Proof in 2022.

BigHit Music, the band’s management agency, announced that BTS will release their new album on March 20, 2026, a date that fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting.

The comeback follows the completion of mandatory military service by all seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—who have also pursued solo projects during the break.

The announcement was accompanied by handwritten messages from the members to their fans, expressing gratitude and excitement.

RM wrote that he had been “waiting for this moment more desperately than anyone,” while other members echoed sentiments of joy at reuniting as a full group.

The new album is expected to showcase BTS’s evolution as artists while reconnecting with their global fanbase, ARMYs, who have kept the group’s legacy alive during the hiatus.
