The whole poll process has to be completed before that as per the rules.

Around 50 bypolls are also due and the ECI is likely to also announce the election dates for these.

In September to assess the preparations for the upcoming Assembly Elections in Maharashtra, a team comprising top officials from the ECI was in Mumbai to take stock of the situation. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, held meetings with district collectors and superintendents of police and met the political representatives also.

The ECI team also toured Jharkhand to assess the situation there in September. The ECI team led by CEC Rajiv Kumar along with ECs Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu held discussions with political parties as also the officials. Representatives of six national parties, including BJP, Congress and CPI(M) and three regional parties -- JMM, RJD and AJSU gave their views and submitted their representation to the Election Commission.

With the schedule to be announced by the ECI, the model code of conduct will also come into effect.

All the political parties in both states will name their candidates and begin campaigning.

In Maharashtra, the contest is chiefly between the ruling Mahayuti coalition -- the BJP, Shiv Sena, and Nationalist Congress Party -- and the Maha Vikas Aghadi, which includes the Congress, the Sharad Pawar-led NCP, and the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT).

In Jharkhand, the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-Congress alliance (the INDIA bloc) will take on the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), which includes the All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), Janata Dal (United), and the BJP.

Pradhan said that the primary focus of NEP 2020, is to create a vision, and create confidence among the students.

"NEP has completed four years. It is a philosophical document to produce, to create globally responsible citizens, because India is a country of town population next on three decades, that demographic dividend will be with India. For me, the primary focus of NEP 2020, is to create a vision, and create confidence among the students and also develop competency. Because competency is more important than degree and certificate," he said.

The Education Minister said that in the next two decades India will be the growth engine of the Global Economy.
"NEP-led transformations taking place in India's education system and its pivotal role in transforming our young demography into future-ready, responsible global citizens. In the next two decades, India will be the growth engine of the global economy. Priority areas of NEP-- integration of technology in education, encouraging learning in Indian languages, fostering a culture of research & innovation and thrust on competencies & employability skills, places India well to reap its demographic dividend. NEP 2020 is going to have a global impact," he said

"Another focus of NEP is Global standard research. Tie up with institutions, tie up with new areas, tie up with governments," Pradhan added.

Pradhan said that all youngsters must get opportunity to pursue quitable education.

"We have to give opportunity to all our youngsters, equitable education, inclusive education, affordable education, and quality education. We are inviting foreign universities in India to open their campuses in India. Sizable Indian students are going to overseas. For Speed, around a million youngsters are going to different part of the world for the higher studies," he said.

This National Education Policy aims to address the many growing developmental imperatives. This Policy proposes the revision and revamping of all aspects of the education structure, including its regulation and governance, to create a new system that is aligned with the aspirational goals of 21st century education. According to the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), the ritual will be performed after the second 'Bhoga Mandap'. During this period, no visitors will be allowed the darshan of the Trinity. 

As per traditions, Datta Mohapatra Servitors will make up Lord Balabhadra, Lord Jagannath, Goddess Subhadra, and Chakraraj Sudarshan with natural herbal colours like green, red, saffron, black, and white in the Banakalagi Niti, which is also known as "Mukha Sringar" (Face Make-Up).

After completion of the ritual, the Holy Trinity will be given a ceremonial bath, also known as 'Maha Snana'. After that, devotees will be allowed Darshan of the Trinity seated on the Ratnasinghasan.
