Alongside the drones, BSF troops also seized a total of 15.832 kg of heroin.
"In the past week, the alert troops of @BSF_Punjab intercepted and recovered ten #Pakistani drones involved in smuggling narcotics into #India. Additionally, #BSF successfully seized 15.832 kg of heroin," the BSF stated in an official release.
All the intercepted drones were manufactured in China and used for cross-border smuggling operations.

Earlier, on Sunday, Border Security Force (BSF) troops in a joint operation with Punjab police recovered a made-in-China drone in Punjab's Tarn Taran district.
Based on information from the BSF intelligence wing about the presence of a drone in the border area of Tarn Taran district, a joint search operation was carried out in the suspected area. During the search operation, at about 02:00 pm, troops successfully recovered one drone from a harvested farming field adjacent to village Wan in Tarn Taran District, said BSF.
The recovered drone has been identified as a DJI Mavic 3 Classic manufactured in China. Reliable information and coordinated efforts of BSF and Punjab police successfully recovered yet another illicit drone from across the border, added the release. (ANI)
