According to reports, the mishap took place around 3:30 AM when a truck carrying approximately 4,000 ducks from Tamil Nadu to Jharkhand met with an accident.
According to the driver, the crash was caused by a brake failure. The vehicle lost control and overturned, resulting in the death of the majority of the ducks being transported.
Rescue operations are currently underway with the help of cranes, as authorities work to clear the site and recover the surviving birds.
Local residents were seen carrying away dead ducks from the accident site, highlighting the chaotic aftermath of the incident.
