Bhubaneswar, Feb 14: After three months of relentless search, Nayapalli Police have successfully traced a missing youth, bringing relief to his distressed mother.

The missing youth, identified as 23‑year‑old Anand Mahakud, had reportedly fled from home about a month ago. His elderly mother, left without support, had been desperately searching for him across the capital city. Carrying her son’s photograph, she wandered through the streets, showing it to strangers and pleading for any information.

Moved by her plight, Nayapalli Police extended a helping hand. Using CCTV footage and conducting thorough investigations across city neighborhoods, they eventually managed to locate Anand.

The police worked closely with the mother, who tirelessly roamed the streets with her son’s photo, asking passersby if they had seen him.
