Bhadrak, Oct 3: A disturbing incident has come to light from Charampa on National Highway 16, under Bhadrak Town Police limits, where a truck driver was seen forcefully abducting a mentally ill woman during heavy rainfall. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.
According to reports, the victim, mentally unstable, had taken shelter under the veranda of a roadside shop near Charampa Square. Meanwhile, a truck travelling along the highway stopped near the shop. Later, taking the advantage, the driver forcibly dragged the victim into the vehicle, and drove away in an unknown direction.
The entire incident was recorded on nearby CCTV cameras, which have since been reviewed by local authorities.

✨Following the revelation, Police have launched a search operation across various locations to trace the woman and apprehend the accused.
