Argus News - Man, Missing For Past Two Days, Found Dead In Well In Begunia Village

Khordha, Nov 12: A man, identified as Damodar Sahu, who had been missing for the past two days, was found dead in a well near his residence in Khordha's Badaberana.

According to reports, the matter came to light after locals discovered a body floating in the well next to Sahu’s residence early this morning.

The shocking discovery was immediately reported to the authorities.

 

Upon receiving the information, police personnel rushed to the scene, cordoned off the area, and initiated preliminary inquiries. The body was recovered and sent to a nearby hospital for post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.

 

Police officials have registered a case and stated that while no signs of foul play have been confirmed yet, all angles are being investigated. The well has been sealed off temporarily as part of the forensic examination.

 

Sources indicate that Sahu was last seen near his home on Monday evening, and his sudden disappearance had raised concerns among neighbours and relatives.
