Bhubaneswar, Sep 20: The Odisha Legislative Assembly witnessed yet another day of disruption as the opposition Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLAs staged loud protests over the ongoing fertilizer shortage.
The uproar began during the morning session, with legislators storming the well of the House and raising slogans demanding immediate action.
The protest intensified as BJD members gathered near Speaker’s podium, chanting slogans and waving placards.
Despite repeated appeals from the Speaker to restore order, the chaos continued, forcing the House to be adjourned until 4 PM. This marks the second consecutive day of disruptions, with legislative business coming to a near standstill.
