Bhadrak, Nov 8: A youth was found dead near the Manipur level crossing on the Dhamara–Bhadrak railway line.  The deceased has been identified as Sipun Das, son of Chagala Das, a resident of Manipur village under the Bansada police station limits.

According to reports, the matter came to light after the body of the youth was discovered lying on the railway tracks this morning.

On being informed, police official rushed to the spot and initiated a probe.

While the exact circumstances leading to the tragedy are still under scrutiny, initial investigations by the police point towards a suspected case of suicide.

It is believed that Sipun may have intentionally ended his life by coming in front of the moving train.

Officials have initiated a thorough investigation into the incident to ascertain the precise sequence of events and the cause behind it.

The untimely death of Sipun has left the community in a state of shock and mourning.

Police are continuing their investigation. A case has been registered as the probe continues.
