Sonepur, Sep 19: A woman tragically lost her life during a clash between two families in Tuniamunda village under the jurisdiction of Dunguripali Police Station in Sonepur district.

The deceased has been identified as Sabitri Juadi.

According to reports, an altercation broke out between the families of Geddi Juwadi and Prahallad Juwadi. During the altercation, Sabitri, who was standing near a door inside her home, came between and fell down. As a result, Sabitri sustained injuries and died.

Following the incident, Sabitri's son, Nirmal Juwadi, filed a complaint at Dunguripali Police Station, prompting authorities to register a case under Section 167/25.

Based on the complaint, both Geddi and Prahallad Juwadi were detained for questioning.

Dunguripali Police Station Officer-in-Charge, Rojalin Patel, confirmed the arrests and stated that further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
