New Subdivisional Hospital Announced for Kuchinda

The Minister laid the foundation stone for a 100-bed Sub-Divisional Hospital in Kuchinda, along with several road development projects and new health facilities in nearby areas.
Sambalpur, Apr 14: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today inaugurated a series of major development projects in Kuchinda, aimed at strengthening healthcare and community infrastructure in the region.

The Minister laid the foundation stone for a 100-bed Sub-Divisional Hospital in Kuchinda, along with several road development projects and new health facilities in nearby areas.



In addition, the Minister inaugurated two multipurpose welfare halls, designed to serve as community centers for social, cultural, and welfare activities. These facilities are expected to provide vital support to local communities, particularly the underprivileged.



Speaking at the event, Pradhan emphasised the government’s commitment to improving healthcare access and community welfare in semi-urban and rural areas. He noted that the new hospital and welfare halls will play a crucial role in enhancing quality of life and ensuring inclusive development.

Tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan paid floral tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on the occasion of his 135th birth anniversary. Panchayati Raj Minister Rabi Narayan Naik, District Collector Siddheshwar Baliram Bondar, and Zilla Parishad President Ramchandra Meher were among the dignitaries present.


Speaking at the event, Pradhan emphasised Ambedkar’s pivotal role in drafting the Indian Constitution, calling him the architect of modern India. He described the day as sacred, coinciding with Ambedkar Jayanti, Hanuman Jayanti, and Pana Sankranti, and extended greetings to the people.

Highlighting future plans, Pradhan announced that Kuchinda will be developed into a modern town with a four-lane national highway, a ring road, and afforestation initiatives. He stressed that the newly inaugurated welfare centers will greatly benefit the poor and underprivileged sections of society.
