Sundargarh, Dec 27: Two persons were killed after collision between two vehicles at Chuna Ghati in Koida block of Sundargarh district on Friday night.
According to reports, the collision was so intense that the cabins of both vehicles were mangled beyond recognition. Following the crash, the trucks caught fire, spreading panic in the area. Fire service personnel rushed to the spot, brought the blaze under control, and managed to recover the bodies of the drivers trapped inside.
The accident involved a truck carrying coal and another
transporting iron ore. The force of the collision scattered debris across the
road, disrupting traffic for several hours.
