Two Killed As Kolkata-Bound Bus Rams Into Truck In Odisha's Balasore

Balasore, Oct 29: Two persons lost their lives while more than ten others sustained injuries after a bus they were travelling in collided with a stationary truck near the Laxmananath tollgate on National Highway 60.

According to preliminary reports, the bus was en route to Kolkata when the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels and collided with a truck parked near the toll plaza.

Following the incident, local authorities and emergency responders rushed to the scene, and pulled the out injured passengers from the vehicle.

While two passengers were declared dead on arrival, others are undergoing treatment, with some in critical condition.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the crash.

Eyewitnesses suggest that poor visibility and possible driver fatigue may have contributed to the tragedy.
