Berhampur, Jan 31: As many as five people are feared dead while several others sustained critical injuries after speeding truck ran over multiple vehicles near Haladiapadar in Berhampur on Saturday.


Following the incident, emergency services, including ambulances and police personnel, rushed to the spot to manage the situation and transport victims to nearby hospitals.


Authorities are yet to confirm the exact number of casualties, but local sources suggest that multiple fatalities have occurred. The condition of several injured individuals remains critical.


Police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
