Balasore, Oct 7: Several pilgrims sustained injuries after the bus they were travelling in met with an accident near Tarini Chhak under Soro police station in Balasore district in the wee hours of Tuesday.
According to reports, the bus carrying 65 pilgrims from West Bengal was returning to Digha after visiting Jagannath temple in Puri.
Eyewitnesses and police sources revealed that the driver allegedly dozed off while driving, causing the bus to veer onto the central divider of the highway. The sudden loss of control led to the bus overturning.
