Malkangiri, Oct 16: A huge cache of Maoist materials were seized during a combing operation under Kalimela police limits in Odisha’s Malkangiri district.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, personnel from the District Voluntary Force (DVF) launched a search operation in the dense forest areas of Madhumal and Chikalmamudi, under Kalimela police jurisdiction and border Andhra Pradesh’s Alluri Sitarama Raju district, near the Sileru and Donkarai police limits.
During the operation, the forces discovered a hidden stockpile of Maoist supplies buried underground.

✨The seized items include: 5 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), 5 detonators, 4 meters of codex wire, a generator, one welding machine, iron rods, a cutter blade, two welding masks, two plastic pipes and several other Maoist-related materials.
