Nabarangpur, Oct 15: A 60-year-old man lost his life, while three students sustained injuries after a bus, carrying school children, collided with a biker in Nabarangpur's Raighar area.

The deceased has been identified as Samaru Munda of Turidi village.

According to reports, the school bus was transporting children to Raighar when it collided head-on with a Luna coming from the opposite direction. As a result, Samaru died on the spot while three students sustained injuries.

The injured students were immediately rushed to nearby hospital in Raighar for treatment.

Later, Raighar police reached the scene, seized the deceased's body, and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem. The school bus driver has been detained for questioning.

CCTV footage from the area has captured the moment of the collision and is being reviewed as part of the investigation.
