Bonai, Sep 24: In a shocking incident near Banka stone quarry under K Balang police limits, unidentified masked miscreants looted both the ration shop and residence of local shopkeeper.
According to reports, the incident took place late Tuesday night, when a group of 7 to 8 masked individuals forcibly entered one Puniya Ray's premises. Then they took away ration items, cash and gold ornaments worth lakhs of rupees from a ration shop and its owner’s house.
On being informed, police rushed to the scene and launched a probe into the incident.
