Jajpur, Jan 30: Public darshan at the historic Maa Biraja Temple in Jajpur will remain suspended on February 3, informed the Biraja Temple Trust Board on Friday.


According to the Temple Trust Board, the temple will remain suspended following the visit of President Droupadi Murmu.


During the visit, the President will offer prayers to Goddess Biraja and perform pind daan rituals for ancestors, marking a significant spiritual occasion.


According to the Biraja Temple Trust Board, public darshan will remain suspended from 5:30 AM until the President’s departure to ensure smooth arrangements and security. The temple authorities have urged devotees to cooperate with the temporary restrictions and plan their visits accordingly.


Maa Biraja Temple, one of Odisha’s most revered Shakti Peethas, attracts thousands of devotees daily. The President’s visit is expected to draw national attention to the temple’s cultural and spiritual significance. Local administration and security agencies are making elaborate preparations to manage the event seamlessly.
