Puri/Mayurbhanj, Feb 4: President Droupadi Murmu will embark on a three-day visit to her birthplace, Mayurbhanj district. During the tour, she will attend several programmes across Rairangpur town, her in-laws’ village Pahadpur, Jashipur, and Similipal.
The President is scheduled to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for multiple development projects, while also spending time with her family and local residents.
After completing rituals at Puri’s Swetaganga pond and offering prayers at the Jagannath Temple, the President will flew by a special Indian Air Force helicopter to Rairangpur, landing at Dandabosh helipad at 11:10 AM.

IT Department Campus of Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanjdeo University at Rairangpur College. The public meeting will also feature speeches by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Governor Haribabu Kumbhampati, Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling, and Urban Development Minister Krushnachandra Mahapatra, followed by the President’s address.
Later in the evening, she will meet special invitees at the Holiday Home and return to her Mahuldiha residence for an overnight stay.

As per Blue Book protocol, elaborate security measures have been enforced. ADG Dayal Gangwar reviewed preparations on Tuesday. A total of 48 platoons of police, along with hundreds of officers, have been deployed in Rairangpur. The force includes 6 SPs/Commandants, 12 ASPs/Deputy Commandants, 27 DSPs/Assistant Commandants, 60 Inspectors, 160 SIs, 340 Home Guards, 3 SOG teams, 2 DBF teams, and one ODRAF team. Police department has confirmed full readiness for the President’s visit.

- 12:40–1:05 PM: Worship and participation in a documentary film shoot at Punyaeshwar Mahadev Temple, Rairangpur.
- 1:15–1:35 PM: Film shooting at Brahmakumari Centre near Rairangpur fort.
- 1:45 PM: Lunch at her residence in Rairangpur.
- 2:50–3:40 PM: Informal interaction with family and friends at her residence, including reading newspapers, tea-time, and enjoying traditional Arisa Pitha, filmed for a documentary.
- 3:50–5:00 PM: Public meeting at Kacheri Padia (Rairangpur Stadium), where she will virtually lay foundation stones and inaugurate several projects.
