Baripada, Feb 5: President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit the Similipal today. Ahead of her arrival, elaborate preparations have been completed to ensure a smooth and secure visit.
Ahead of the visit, security arrangements have been tightened in accordance with the provisions of the Blue Book, which outlines protocols for the protection of the Head of State.
A large contingent of security personnel has been deployed across key points in and around Similipal.
Police, paramilitary forces, and special units are working in coordination to maintain vigilance. Meanwhile, barricades, checkpoints, and surveillance systems have been put in place to monitor the area and regulate public movement.

On the other hand, the National Park has been closed for tourists for three days from 4th to 6th of February in view of the visit.
