Bhubaneswar, Feb 14: Two persons including a police official
sustained critical injuries after a Traveller van rammed into multiple vehicles
at Badagada Brit Colony area here on Saturday.
According to reports, the incident occurred this morning
when a traveller van lost control while driving through the city and rammed
into an auto-rickshaw. The vehicle then collided with a motorcycle before
crashing into a roadside tea shop.
As a result of the accident, two people sustained serious
injuries. Among them was a policeman identified as Gudu Pilei, who was
critically hurt. Both injured individuals were immediately shifted to Capital
Hospital for treatment.

The accident also caused significant damage to the tea shop,
scattering furniture and injuring those inside.
Later, police reached the spot and seized the vehicle.
A case was registered against the driver of the Traveller
van and further investigation is underway.
