Bhubaneswar, Sep 30: The Police Sub-Inspector (SI) examination, which was originally scheduled to be held on October 5 and 6, has been postponed, announced the Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB).

"In view of some unforeseen development, the Board decided to postpone the Written Examination CPSE-2024, which was earlier scheduled to be held on 05.10.2025 & 06.10.2025," read a notification released by the OPRB.

According to an official statement, the new dates will be notified shortly and candidates are advised to regularly check the official OPRB website and notifications for updates regarding the revised schedule.

The board has assured that all necessary arrangements will be made to conduct the examination smoothly once the new dates are finalised.

The SI exam is a key recruitment process for aspiring police officers in the state, and thousands of candidates were expected to appear.
