Cuttack, Sep 30: A Class X student went missing while taking bath in the Mahanadi River near Daspur, under the jurisdiction of Athagarh Police Station.

According to reports, the incident occurred when the victim, identified as Anisha Ojha, had gone to the river to take bath. Meanwhile, he slipped into the deep water and went missing.

On being informed, personnel from Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) and Fire Services reached the spot and launched a rescue operation.

Police officials have assured that all necessary efforts are being made to trace Anisha.
