Argus News - Odisha CHSE Plus 2 Exam Dates Announced, Check Details

Bhubaneswar, Oct 17: The annual Plus Two examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) for the 2025–26 academic session are expected to begin in February.

According to Dr. Prasanta Kumar Parida, Controller of Examinations, the examinations are scheduled between February 15 and 25, 2026.

Accordingly students will receive their admit cards by December 15.

After which the internal exams are scheduled from December 22 to 31, and practical exams to be conducted between January 2 and 15, 2026.

A total of 1,349 centers will host the examinations this year.

The detailed timetable is expected to be released by November 2025, and will be available on the official CHSE Odisha website (chseodisha.nic.in).

This year, the CHSE is taking extra measures to ensure transparency and fairness in the examination process, including enhanced surveillance and streamlined logistics.

The Council has issued a crucial directive to all Higher Secondary Schools under its jurisdiction.

As per the instructions, all principals and headmasters of H.S. Schools will ensure the mandatory installation and functioning of CCTV cameras in critical examination areas. This includes the Strong Rooms of Examination Management Hubs (EMHs), Centre Superintendent’s offices, examination halls/rooms, and laboratories in self-financing H.S. Schools.

The Council has also set a strict deadline to complete the installation and testing of CCTV systems by 29th November 2025.

With preparations underway, students are advised to stay updated and begin their revision early.
