The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for 20 districts, forecasting light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning over the next 24 hours.
Wind speeds are expected to range between 30 to 40 km/h, adding to the unstable weather conditions. The warning covers districts in western, interior, and coastal Odisha, with alerts in place until October 11. After that, rainfall activity is expected to gradually decrease.
