Bhubaneswar, Oct 26: With Cyclone Montha intensifying over the Bay of Bengal, the Odisha government has cancelled leave for government employees in eight coastal and vulnerable districts until October 30.

The move is part of a broader disaster preparedness strategy to ensure swift response and coordination in vulnerable regions.

According to official sources, the districts under alert include Koraput, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, and Kalahandi.
