Rourkela, Jan 28: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi is on a two-day visit to Rourkela, marking a significant push for industrial and economic development in the region.


On the first day of his visit, the Chief Minister inaugurated the 25th edition of CII Enterprise Odisha Exhibition 2026 at Sector 13 ground here on Tuesday.


The event witnessed participation from over 120 companies, showcasing their products and innovations across various stalls. The program highlighted Odisha’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem and its commitment to fostering business opportunities.


On the second day, the Chief Minister is scheduled to launch 23 new industrial projects in Rourkela. These projects represent a massive investment of Rs 35,880 crore, aimed at boosting employment, infrastructure, and industrial growth in the state. Officials stated that the projects span diverse sectors, including manufacturing, steel, energy, and allied industries, reinforcing Rourkela’s position as a key industrial hub.


Later, the chief minister would participate in sectoral round table discussions and B2G meetings.
