Bhubaneswar, Nov 16: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep concern over the health condition of popular Odia playback singer Humane Sagar.
In a proactive move, the Chief Minister held discussions with doctors at AIIMS Bhubaneswar and assessed the singer’s medical status.
“Humane Sagar is a beloved and immensely talented artist of Odisha. I have spoken to the doctors at AIIMS and urged them to continue their best efforts for his speedy recovery,” said the Chief Minister.
He further added that if required, the state government will make arrangements to shift the singer to AIIMS Delhi for advanced treatment. A team of senior intensivists and specialists is monitoring his health round-the-clock.
According to the medical bulletin, the singer’s condition remains unstable, and he is receiving life-saving treatment. The hospital has assured that all necessary measures are being taken to stabilize his vitals and support organ function.

Sagar has been battling with multiple health issues including kidney failure, liver complications, and pneumonia. He had been undergoing treatment at Ashwini Hospital in Cuttack and was later referred to AIIMS on Friday after his condition deteriorated.
