Cuttack, Nov 3: With just two days remaining, the Millennium City of Odisha- Cuttack is buzzing with excitement as preparations near completion for the Historic Baliyatra Cuttack 2025.
Scheduled from November 5 to 12 on the banks of the Mahanadi River here, this year’s fair promises a vibrant blend of tradition, technology, and international collaboration.
New Attractions to Dazzle Visitors
The district administration has introduced several new features to enhance the visitor experience. Highlights include an anamorphic 3D screen, interactive experience zones, electric drum performances, a vintage car exhibition, and the famed Tarakasi Gallery showcasing Cuttack’s silver filigree craft.
A 5D theater and thrilling water sports—boating, rowing, canoeing, and kayaking—will be available on the Mahanadi River, along with a three-day laser light show.

✨Cultural Showcase
A major draw this year is the “Cuttack in Cuttack” pavilion, themed around Odia language and literature. It will host discussions and activities involving school and college students, aiming to foster pride in Odia heritage.
Adding to the cultural richness, a massive sand sculpture of a traditional boita (maritime boat), 30 feet wide and 10 feet tall, is being prepared to honor Odisha’s ancient trade routes.
Global Partnerships and Media Spotlight
Indonesia has been named the official partner nation, celebrating historical maritime ties with Odisha. A dedicated pavilion will showcase Indonesian art, handicrafts, and culture.

Historical Significance
