Rajnagar, Oct 10: A major mishap was averted as a fishing boat capsized late Thursday night while operating in the sea near Satabhaya coast under Rajnagar block in Kendrapara district.


According to reports, a fishing boat named Maa Tarini, carrying eight fishermen from Bhadrak district, was operating in the sea near Satabhaya coast under Rajnagar block. Meanwhile, their boat overturned.


The sudden capsizing left the fishermen stranded in the dark, but their quick thinking and swimming skills helped them reach the shore without any serious injuries.
