Karanjia, Jan 8: A major fire broke out at the Star Matching Center located in Karanjia market, sparking panic among local traders and residents.

 

According to reports, the incident occurred in the morning hours, with flames quickly engulfing the establishment and spreading smoke across the busy marketplace.

 

Eyewitnesses reported that shopkeepers and customers rushed out as the fire intensified, while nearby shops were immediately closed to prevent further damage. Local residents joined hands with traders to help move goods and valuables out of adjoining shops.

 

On being informed, fire service personnel reached the spot immediately and began efforts to control the blaze.

According to officials, the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, though preliminary reports suggest an electrical short circuit may have triggered the incident.
