Bhubaneswar, Oct 21: In a shocking incident that has raised serious concerns about law and order, a group of miscreants vandalized Hotel Srikhetra in VSS Nagar, Bhubaneswar, after being denied free food.
The attackers, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, forcibly entered the hotel premises, damaged property, and assaulted staff members.
According to the hotel owner, the group had been consuming
alcohol outside the hotel despite being warned against it. When they were
refused complimentary snacks, the situation escalated.

The miscreants launched a coordinated attack, breaking furniture, damaging the tandoor oven, and creating chaos inside the establishment.

The hotel staff immediately alerted the police, and a complaint was lodged at the Sahid Nagar Police Station. Acting on the complaint, police have launched an investigation and are conducting door-to-door searches to identify and apprehend the culprits. CCTV footage from the hotel has captured the entire incident, which is now being used as key evidence.
The brazen nature of the attack has been viewed as a direct challenge to the Commissionerate Police. Authorities have assured strict action against those involved and have intensified efforts to maintain public safety in the area.
