New Delhi/Bhubaneswar, Sep 30: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has praised the Odisha government’s newly launched ‘Ama Sathi’ Unified WhatsApp Bot, calling it a significant step toward enhancing public service delivery through digital innovation.
In a tweet posted, the Union Minister described the initiative as “highly commendable,” highlighting its role in making government services more convenient and transparent for citizens. He noted that essential documents such as birth and death certificates, legal heir certificates, permanent resident and income certificates, driving licenses, and RTO services can now be accessed directly via WhatsApp.
“Thanks to the state government for contributing towards realizing the #DigitalIndia vision of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Pradhan added, acknowledging the alignment of the initiative with the national push for tech-enabled governance.
