Bhubaneswar, Sep 26: The Odisha government on Friday launched the ‘Ama Sathi’ Unified WhatsApp Chatbot, enabling access to 132 public services directly through a simple message.
The initiative was inaugurated by Chief Secretary of Odisha, Manoj Ahuja.
With the news facility, citizens can now apply for essential documents such as birth certificates, caste certificates, income certificates, and residence certificates without visiting government offices or Jan Seva Kendras. By sending a message to the WhatsApp number 9437292000, users can initiate applications, track their status, and even make payments securely via WhatsApp Pay.
The chatbot supports communication in Odia and allows both written and voice-based applications.

✨Services available include land registration, legal heir certificates, driving licenses, fertilizer licenses, benefits under inter-caste marriage schemes, and the National Family Benefit Scheme, among others.
Notably, if any service applied through the chatbot is not delivered within the stipulated time, the responsible officer will face action, ensuring accountability. The system also provides real-time tracking of application status and reasons for delays.
The launch is integrated with CMS Central Monitoring System 2, enhancing transparency and efficiency across block and tehsil-level offices.
