Puri, Oct 31: Thousands of devotees thronged Sakhigopal Temple in Puri on Anla Navami to witness the revered ‘Radha Pada Darshan’ ritual, a rare glimpse of the divine feet of Goddess Radha Rani.

The highlight of the day was the ceremonial unveiling of Goddess Radha’s feet, a sacred moment believed to bestow prosperity and spiritual merit upon the devotees.

The ritual, held only once a year, is considered especially auspicious for women seeking marital bliss and family well-being.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the festival, the district administration and temple authorities implemented elaborate security arrangements. Barricades, crowd control measures, and medical aid stations were set up across the temple complex.

Police personnel and volunteers were deployed in large numbers to manage the massive influx of pilgrims and maintain order.

Special arrangements were also made for elderly devotees and differently-abled individuals, ensuring that everyone could participate in the spiritual experience without hindrance.

The spiritual highlight of Amla Navami is the darshan of Maa Radharani in her rare Odiani Besha, alongside Lord Krishna in Natabara attire. This once-a-year glimpse is believed to bestow immense spiritual merit upon devotees.
