Paradip, Oct 21: Odisha is all set to witness the grand inauguration of the Kalinga Bali Jatra, a week-long cultural and trade festival in Paradip that celebrates the state’s maritime legacy.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will officially inaugurate the event, which promises to revive age-old traditions and showcase Odisha’s rich heritage.
Odisha Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain announced
that this year’s Kalinga Bali Jatra will be organized with exceptional
grandeur. The festival will feature cultural performances by renowned artists
from Bollywood and Ollywood, adding a vibrant touch to the celebrations.

✨The Kalinga Bali Jatra, which commemorates the ancient trade links between Odisha and Southeast Asia, will run for seven days. Preparations for the event have been completed, and organizers are confident that this year’s edition will captivate visitors with its blend of tradition and modernity.
Minister Swain also confirmed that alongside the Chief Minister, Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati and other state ministers will attend the inauguration ceremony. The festival will include exhibitions, food stalls, handicrafts, and cultural showcases that reflect Odisha’s maritime history and artistic excellence.
